The fastest centuries in T20 cricket
For eleven years the fastest hundred in T20 cricket belonged to Chris Gayle, whose 30-ball century in the 2013 IPL had itself displaced Andrew Symonds' 34-ball effort from 2004. Then in June 2024 Sahil Chauhan hit 100 off 27 balls for Estonia against Cyprus and moved the record somewhere nobody expected it to go. Ball counts below are balls faced at the moment the batter reached three figures.

- This table lists every T20 hundred we could verify at 34 balls or fewer. ESPNcricinfo's consolidated "fastest hundreds" table was not reachable while this page was compiled, so entries were confirmed one by one against ESPNcricinfo match reports, the ICC and Wisden. Hundreds reached in 35 balls or more are not listed.
- Where several batters share a ball count they share a rank, listed oldest-first.
- Balls refers to deliveries faced when the batter reached 100, not the length of the whole innings — Chris Gayle's 30-ball hundred came inside a 66-ball 175*.
